Talk 1 – OneNote and Microsoft Teams, Smarter Notetaking Together (EN)

Learn how to take collaborative (and personal) notes with OneNote in Microsoft Teams. This session includes a demonstration of setting up a notebook in team channels, taking meeting notes with OneNote, and taking personal notes with the OneNote personal app in Microsoft Teams.

Along the way, Heather will share some of her favorite shortcuts and best practices.

As the session wraps up, she’ll share what’s changing with OneNote over the next couple of years.

Heather Severino

Microsoft MVP, MCT Regional Lead, MOS Master, MCSA

Heather is an innovative, globally recognized expert trainer with over two decades of experience in the technology and learning industry. Her background includes government, corporate, sports and media technology.

Heather helps individuals and organizations learn how to maximize productivity in the modern workplace by sharing real world experience and knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, Power BI, Project, SharePoint, and Visio.

She has authored many Microsoft Office online video courses for LinkedIn Learning.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
She has been Microsoft Certified since 2006 and became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in 2011.

In 2012, Microsoft appointed her an MCT Regional Lead for the United States, and she is currently one of approximately 75 MCT Regional Leads worldwide mentoring other MCTs.

In 2017, Microsoft honored her with the distinguished award as a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for the OneNote technology. Microsoft has re-awarded her as a MVP for Office Apps and Services the past four years consecutively. Her primary focuses are Microsoft 365, OneNote and Teams.
